Angel Reese changes the game with shiny new grill that will steal spotlight from Caitlin Clark on WNBA Draft night
The Bayou Barbie is going to turn heads with her new look for draft night
LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese is preparing to break necks at the WNBA Draft with a sizzling new look featuring a grill and a possible new hair color.
She shared the first steps of her makeover on her Instagram story as the Bayou Barbie prepares to pull out all the stops for the biggest night of her life.
Angel Reese prepares new look for WNBA Draft
The 21-year-old invited celebrity teeth jeweler Essence Martin to the LSU facility in Baton Rouge to get fitted for a custom grill, according to her Instagram.
“Thank you for specially coming to get me right for draft night,” Angel wrote.
The WNBA Draft preparations did not stop there. Reese also posted videos to her story working on the court with Victor Wembanyama’s trainer, who helped the Frenchman get selected No. 1 in the NBA Draft last year.
She added another photo under the cover of darkness, timestamped at 6:27am, with the caption “reps after reps.”
The SEC Player of the Year also teased a potential new hair style on her story. She reposed an old video from when she went blonde earlier this season, with the caption, “I need to try color again,” just days before the draft.
Clearly, Reese is putting together a unique look that will change the game, but that’s nothing new for her.
Driven by her catch phrase “Unapologetically Me,” she already broke barriers by announcing she would enter the draft by appearing on the cover of Vogue Magazine.

When is the WNBA Draft?
Fans don’t have to wait long to see Angel Reese’s showstopping look come together. The WNBA Draft takes place on Monday, April 15th.
The Indiana Fever hold the No. 1 pick, and are widely expected to draft Iowa star Caitlin Clark with the first selection.
After Clark, a number of talented NCAA players fill the big board.
Stanford’s Cameron Brink is the second-ranked prospect, while bigs like Kamilla Cardoso (South Carolina) and Aaliyah Edwards (UConn) come in ahead of Reese, who was projected to go at No. 7 in ESPN’s latest mock draft.
