The LSU Tigers may have bowed out of March Madness earlier than they would have liked, but that doesn’t stop the flow of time.
Now that their 2023-24 season is over, one of their star players is preparing for life outside the collegiate hardwood.
Angel Reese was a phenomenal baller during her four years in Baton Rouge, but she now prepares for her entry into the pros.
While she will not likely be the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, many expect her to become an exciting addition to whichever franchise takes a shot at her talents.
One coach who worked with one of the most exciting players of this year’s rookie class claims that Reese will be a menace in the WNBA, which bodes well for her professional career.
Victor Wembanyama’s trainer believes Angel Reese can continue her dominance with LSU Tigers in the WNBA
The Spun’s Andrew Holleran revealed that Reese is working with a known trainer to help her become ready for the WNBA. The coach reportedly has nothing but positive words to say about Reese and her style of play:
Reese is working with a top NBA trainer ahead of the WNBA Draft later this month. Tim Martin, who has worked with Victor Wembanyama, is preparing Reese for the next level.
He’s very high on her.
“@Reese10Angel has all the attributes to be great. Amazing presence, incredible talent, even better person. No limit for her and her future
” he wrote on social media.
It’s not hard to see why Martin would gush over Reese’s talent when you look at her work with the LSU Tigers.
The transferee from Maryland saw a boost to her performance during her last two years of college eligibility.
She’s entering the pro scene with an impressive stat line of 18.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists on 49.8% FG and 70.4% FT.
While she has to improve her three-point shooting to become a pillar for a contender, she already has all the tools to suceed beyond college.
It’s now up to the team that will draft her to properly use her talents so they could win in the WNBA.
