Angel Reese was feeling herself after LSU punched a ticket to the Elite 8.
The Tigers and Kim Mulkey’s team beat UCLA in a tense Sweet 16 game 78-69, and there were some words exchanged in the handshake line.
Reese appeared to tell a UCLA coach “watch your mouth” while going through the handshake line. It’s not clear exactly who she was speaking to, but the comment immediately drew a reaction from the two LSU staffers in front of her.

Angel Reese appears to talk trash to UCLA coach.
To make the situation even weirder, she was asked about it after the game and declined to provide specifics after saying an unidentified UCLA coach “talking a little crazy.”
Why bring it up at all if you’re not willing to actually discuss it? Interesting.
If you’re going to run your mouth after a game – which doesn’t come as a surprise to literally anyone – then why not actually go into detail after the fact?
Instead, Reese hit the media with “next question.” Why? People want the drama. Feed it to them! Inject it right in their veins.
The LSU star was all about having some big energy after the win, as she should have. Making the Elite 8 is a great accomplishment, but don’t talk trash if you’re then not going to address it.
Do what a guy like Sean Strickland does. Say it and stand by it. No point in saying “next question.” Who was the coach? What were they saying? Let the people know!

Now, Reese and LSU have a matchup with Caitlin Clark on the horizon. Buckle up for chaos because Monday night should be a dogfight. Let me know your thoughts on Reese at [email protected].
