NBA (DR)
We were waiting for a decision from Spurs for Victor Wembanyama, and it did not take long.
The franchise has decided to rest the Frenchman this Sunday, meaning that his rookie campaign is officially over.
After a great victory over the Nuggets and new carnage for Victor Wembanyama, the Spurs will try to finish in style this Sunday evening, against Evan Fournier’s Pistons.
An affordable match for Gregg Popovich’s men, although there will be many absentees for this part… including Wemby, rested by the medical staff.
End clap for Wembanyama
Yes, you heard correctly: Victor’s season is officially over.
He concluded his rookie campaign with 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and 3.6 blocks on average.
He will be crowned ROY in a few weeks and it will be deserved, even if we imagine that Wemby would have liked to be on the floor this Sunday.
The staff decided otherwise.
Victor Wembanyama will not be participating in the final game of the season on Sunday. He is OUT.

Victor Wembanyama will not participate in the last match of the season this Sunday. He is forfeited.
Spurs had a choice to make and unsurprisingly, they decided to play it safe.
Rather than risking an injury with Wembanyama for the last match of the season, they wanted to rest him, especially since there will be the Olympic Games starting in July.
I think it’s the right move. I am really going to miss him. He is the most exciting player in the whole planet.

Victor Wembanyama’s season is officially over, he who will follow his teammates from the bench this Sunday against the Pistons.
We will now have to wait until July and the Olympic Games to find him on the field. Which season.
