Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever jersey becomes Fanatics’ BEST-EVER seller for a draft pick – as stocks are wiped out just two hours after former Iowa star was taken No. 1 overall

Caitlin Clark has broken yet another record, as her Indiana Fever jersey became the top-selling jersey ever for a draft pick after her attendance at the 2024 WNBA Draft in Brooklyn.

The 22-year-old, former Iowa Hawkeyes star was selected as the first overall pick on Monday. But after her big moment, Fanatics – the official online retailer of the WNBA – was quick to see its stock of Clark’s No. 22 Fever jerseys run out within hours that the NCAA’s all-time scoring leader turned pro, according to Darren Rovell, of cllct media.

‘JUST IN: Two hours after being picked, Caitlin Clark became Fanatics’ top selling draft pick in any draft night history,’ Rovell shared on X on Tuesday.

‘Surpassed Trevor Lawrence in 2021.’

Clark’s anticipated selection on Monday night drove a spike in ticket interest last week, and the WNBA made sure to have 36 of the Fever’s 40 regular season games on national TV this summer so fans can continue to watch her play.

Clark wrapped up her collegiate career with Iowa as a two-time national player of the year on top of her record-breaking scoring accomplishments, despite not having any national titles to show for her grit.

She is now adamant to take the WNBA by storm.

‘I always believed in myself,’ Clark told GMA after being drafted on Monday night. ‘Also, I worked really hard for it. I think that’s what I’m really proud of is like, I earned it. I deserve it. Nothing was ever given to me. More than anything just believe in myself.
