Caitlin Clark has played her final regular season game for Iowa on Sunday against Ohio State and the college basketball legend has received a unique gift to mark the occasion

Caitlin Clark was given the Taylor Swift treatment by fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk ahead of the Iowa sensation’s final regular season game for the program.

Clark broke Pete Maravich’s all-time NCAA scoring record of 3,667 points, requiring just 18 points to set a new benchmark. She made light work of the challenge, going ahead of “Pistol Pete” with a pair of buckets from the charity stripe with 0.3 seconds remaining in the first half.

Sunday’s game was senior day for the No. 6 Hawkeyes, and Clark and her teammates went out in style with a 93-83 victory at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Clark finished the day with 33 points, nine assists, six rebounds, three steals, and was given a hero’s reception by a sold-out crowd.

To mark the occasion and her stellar career, Clark was sent a vest jacket made by Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk. Kristin went viral during the NFL playoffs when Taylor Swift wore a red puffer coat she made using a Travis Kelce jersey during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Wildcard victory over the Miami Dolphins.

The designer also made eye-catching Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions-inspired pieces for US Olympic legend Simone Biles and Hollywood actor Taylor Lautner, catching the attention of the NFL, which has since signed a licensing agreement with Kristin.

Her creation for Clark featured several of her No. 22 jerseys being collaged together on a black vest jacket. Her name and number are on the back in the Hawkeyes’ iconic yellow. Some of her achievements are also emblazoned on the vest, including her status as Iowa’s all-time leader in points, assistants, three-pointers, and field goals made.

“I wish I could add all her awards on there, but you would need 700 jackets to fit all that. Which is incredible,” Juszczyk told Yahoo Sports. “It’s a special piece and I hope she loves it.”

Clark’s attention will turn to the Big Ten tournament, which begins next week, before March Madness begins with Selection Sunday on March 17.

The final chapters of her collegiate story are yet to be written, but Clark announced on Thursday her intent to declare for the 2024 WNBA Draft. The 22-year-old is widely expected to be taken No. 1 overall by the Indiana Fever.

Speaking about beating the record, Clark said to FOX Sports: “When they announced it and then everyone screamed, that’s when I knew. Pretty cool.”
