Katie Price braced to give evidence at Kieran Hayler rape trial as she reveals ‘shock’ at charges

KATIE Price is braced to give evidence in court after her ex-husband Kieran Hayler was charged with raping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
The former stripper will appear at Crawley Magistrates Court on November 19.

Hayler, 38, has been charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl and is under police investigation.
The alleged offences occurred between June and October in 2016, when Katie was still married to Hayler.
Last night, a CPS source said: “Katie may well be called to court to give evidence.
“She was married to Kieran when these offences are said to have happened; it wouldn’t be surprising for her to be called up.

“Family and friends are being made aware they may be asked to speak out, and stand up in a court of law if necessary.
“It is all part of the judicial process, an imperative that the truth is heard.”
The Sun understands the alleged victim is not a member of Katie or Hayler’s extended family.
Katie appeared on stage in Swansea on her nationwide theatre tour on Monday night just hours before the charges against Hayler came to light.
She confirmed to the audience that she was aware of the situation and said: “The thing that is coming out tonight…I’m still in shock.
“I could have been like, ‘F**k it, I’m not going to do this show with that coming out.
“But I’m professional and I’m doing it.”
The Sun revealed the charges against Hayler for the first time yesterday.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “We can confirm Kieran Hayler, 38, of Northchapel in West Sussex, has been charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl.
“The offences are alleged to have occurred at an address in West Sussex between June 1 and October 13, 2016.
“Hayler remains released under investigation and is due to appear before Crawley magistrates’ court on November 19.

2024-present: After weeks of rumours, Katie confirmed her relationship with Married At First Sight star JJ Slater in February 2024.
“The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has received support from specially trained officers as our enquiries continue.”
A legal representative for Hayler said: “Kieran Hayler strongly denies the allegations made against him in its entirety.
“Mr Hayler is fully engaged and has been co-operating with the police throughout the investigation and will continue to do so.
“He looks forward to his name being cleared believing in the judicial system to do so.”
Hayler was pictured today for the first time since being charged. He was seen wearing sports clothing as he climbed out of his Range Rover and kept his eyes glued to his phone.
Katie and Hayler were married for six years and share kids, Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11.
The marriage broke down in 2018 after Katie learned he had cheated on her for a third time.
Their divorce was finalised in 2021 after pandemic delays.
