Matt Tebbutt committed a major gaffe mere moments into this morning’s edition of Saturday Kitchen (November 22), accidentally disclosing private information about one of the show’s celebrity guests.
The TV chef was joined by comedian and actor Tom Allen, recognised for his appearances on The Apprentice spin-off You’re Fired, Cooking with the Stars and The Great British Bake Off’s Extra Slice.
He featured on the ITV programme to promote his gardening podcast, Pottering With Tom Allen, explaining to presenter Matt: “I just thought what the world needs is another podcast.”

He added: “We keep the bird song in, we keep the church bells in, even aeroplanes going over we leave in.”

Matt then interrupted with a brief remark about the ambient sounds, which unintentionally disclosed the celebrity’s location, reports the Express.

“Please Matt! Don’t tell people where I live,” Tom responded, before adding with humour: “It’s true though it’s a very desirable area,” as the studio filled with laughter.
The slip-up prompted an immediate “I’m sorry” from presenter Matt, who hastily explained: “I didn’t give out the full address.”
Tom then revealed that his residential area was relatively small, meaning even the smallest details gave away too much.

“Well it’s not a very big place so if you are in Chislehurst you’ll see me there,” he disclosed before delivering a tongue-in-cheek “So thanks for that” towards Matt.
As the programme progressed, Matt passed over to chef Ravinder Bhogal to reveal what was next on the agenda. Yet, he couldn’t help but make another quip about his previous gaffe.
“Right let’s see what else is on the menu today. Ravinder! Tell everyone where you live,” he joked, triggering another bout of laughter from the cast and crew.
