The Blue star, 47, who recently went public with Alexander — a performer from the hit male revue Forbidden Nights — couldn’t hide his excitement as he gushed over his new relationship while attending the Children with Cancer UK Gala at The Peninsula Hotel in London on Saturday night.

“He’s a very handsome boy,” Duncan admitted with a smile. “It’s new and it’s exciting. He’s a real sweetheart, a bit of a love bug, and he’s showering me with so much love. He’s like a big gentle giant — kind, considerate, respectful. It’s been really lovely.”

Duncan shared that Alexander has already met his mum, Fiona Inglis, as well as his fellow Blue members — Simon WebbeAntony Costa, and Lee Ryan — and everyone’s onboard.

“He’s met my mum — and she likes him! That’s saying something because trust me, if Fiona doesn’t like them, you know about it,” he laughed. “The boys met him first at a gig, and they liked him straight away. I’ve got their seal of approval.”

🎭 From Stage Lights to Spotlight

Alexander, who’s part of Forbidden Nights, is no stranger to fame. Duncan explained that his new partner understands the public attention that comes with being in the spotlight — especially since Alex’s career extends beyond the stage.

“He’s an actor as well,” Duncan said proudly. “He’s done Britain’s Got TalentCanada’s Got TalentAustralia’s Got Talent, even Romania’s Got Talent! They’ve toured all over. He’s used to the limelight, but he’s so grounded and respectful.”

💔 From Heartbreak to Happiness

The relationship comes just months after Duncan’s split from long-term partner Rodrigo Reis, with whom he shared six and a half years.

“Me and Rodrigo came to a natural end,” he reflected. “I love him to bits, and we’re still friends. But after six and a half years, it just ran its course.”

Now, Duncan seems to have found a new chapter of joy with Alexander — one that’s been warmly embraced by those closest to him.

🎶 Blue’s Big 25-Year Celebration

While his love life blossoms, Duncan is also reflecting on his incredible journey with Blue, who will celebrate their 25th anniversary next year with a brand-new album and tour.

“I can’t believe we’ve made it 25 years,” he said proudly. “We’ve never lost a member — it’s remarkable. We’ve had our ups and downs, but we’re still here, still the same lads.”

Calling his bandmates his “brothers for life,” Duncan added:

“We’ve been through everything together — good and bad. That’s what family does. You might squabble, but love always wins.”

💙 From heartbreak to happiness, Duncan James has fans cheering as he steps into a new era of love and loyalty — both on stage and off.
