The 38-year-old reality star was suddenly struck by intense chest pain and difficulty breathing on Tuesday. Alarmed, he phoned NHS helpline 111 — and paramedics were immediately sent to his Essex home before taking him by ambulance to hospital.

He has remained overnight at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow while doctors ran a series of urgent cardiovascular tests.
A close friend revealed just how terrifying the moment was: “Bobby had crushing chest pain and couldn’t breathe properly. He did the right thing calling 111. They’ve now tested him for a suspected heart attack and he’s in the cardiovascular ward. It’s been really scary, and he still doesn’t know what caused it.
“He’ll be in hospital for a while as the cardiology team try to work out what’s going on. But he’s been genuinely overwhelmed by the love from fans.”
Earlier in the day, Bobby stunned followers by posting an Instagram photo showing himself strapped to a stretcher in the back of the ambulance.
This shocking scare comes only months after he underwent surgery to remove a suspicious lump on one of his testicles.
Back in March, Bobby had told fans that things were “not great” and that surgery was required. Sitting in a hospital bed at the time, he explained:
“I’m currently in hospital and about to have an operation today. Some of you may remember a few months ago I found a lump, had tests, and was told to keep an eye on it. And we’ve kept an eye on it… not great. So I’m here today for another operation.”
Then, in May, Bobby underwent yet another surgery. Exhausted but grateful, he praised the kindness of NHS staff, though he admitted the pain was difficult.
“Sore… obviously. I’ve had an operation — of course I’m going to be sore,” he said. “I’ve been fasting which is hungry work. They’re getting me a ham sandwich and a pot of tea, and the nurse will be back with pain relief.”
He then gave a heartfelt thank-you to hospital workers: “Everyone has been so kind and it makes such a difference, especially when you’re scared.”
Bobby — who also appeared on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins — urged fans not to ignore worrying symptoms and to always visit a GP if they discover a lump.
