I’m A Celeb fans have issued the same complaint. It’s not even been a week since I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! all kicked off again as stars like Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley, rapper Aitch, and Loose Women panellist Kelly Brook, amongst a whole host of others, entered the Australian jungle on Ant and Dec’s ITV show.
Tonight, viewers have voted sports presenter Alex Scott and reality star Jack Osbourne to face the latest trial, titled Dreaded Dunnies, and fans will find out just how they fare in the grim-sounding trial.
What’s more, Vogue Williams and Tom Read-Wilson, who were introduced as late arrivals to the camp and promptly installed as camp chiefs, have had the power to choose two more celebs to face the trial.

As the only two who have not been awarded a badge, Alex Scott and Shona must face tomorrow night’s trial Tents of Torture. As part of a shock twist, just those who have not received a Chief Explorer badge from Tom or Vogue, would have to face tomorrow’s Bushtucker Trial. But before revealing that to the camp, Ant and Dec announced to the camp that, as badge holders, Aitch, Eddie, Ginge, Kelly, Jack, Lisa, Martin and Ruby, would be rewarded with a slap-up breakfast before all official camp duties are rescinded.

Shona’s coming out of her shell
It’s great we are finally seeing a bit more of Shona as she comes out of her shell. When I caught up with her at Brisbane Airport – and later for an interview – she was clearly very apprehensive about the whole jungle experience, and didn’t know what to expect. When I later spoke to her mum Jennifer, she explained that Shona always takes time to warm up…and will never compete for the limelight. There is no doubt that she is immensely popular among EastEnders fans…could we see a later charge towards Jungle glory?

Jack admits dad Ozzy was ‘a bit of a Scrooge’ at Christmas
As the conversation in camp turned towards the festive time of year, Jack started to speak about his dad Ozzy, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 76. My dad was a bit of a bah humbug Christmas guy. He didn’t love it. He wasn’t mean on Christmas but he just wasn’t dressing up like Santa. He was more like an Ebenezer Scrooge, but, just in a tight way. He was more like ‘Meh, who gives a s***?”

Tom’s pre-jungle nerves
It will be interesting to see how the campmates respond to Tom’s entry into camp. I met up with him in Surfers Paradise the day before he went in the jungle – and he was clearly very nervous about what the next few days entailed. Much more so than Vogue Williams, who seemed very relaxed and willing to go with the flow. His chief concern was how the camp would respond to an outsider having already forged friendships among themselves. “I just don’t know how they will take to me,” he told me. After Jack’s reaction to their arrival, he was right to be worried…

Vogue’s heartbreaking confession
Speaking to fellow campmate Ruby Wax, who is known for asking deep and meaningful questions, Vogue told her that she used permanent lip liner in order to aid her appearance. This comes after Vogue confessed to feeling “so ugly”, while stating that “everyone is so good looking it’s so annoying.” Ruby asked Vogue if she had anything else done, to which Vogue admitted: “Loads of Botox.” Read more here.

Chief Explorers Tom Read-Wilson and Vogue Williams also chose Martin Kemp and EastEnders’ Shona McGarty to take part. The celebs had to fish around in slime-filled dunnies for tools to help them. One fan said: “Proper team player is Martin, we don’t mind it!” and another said: “Everyone’s doing quite well in this trial”

Could Ruby Wax spell trouble for the camp after pre-show antics?
Producers are desperately hoping that Ruby Wax might provide some more fireworks in camp and disrupt the harmonious atmosphere that has set in. I caught up with her in the days before she entered camp – and she was certainly in a feisty mood. After just seconds of chatting, she was complaining that her hotel was “trash” and that she wanted to change rooms. So far we haven’t really seen that side to her…but as hunger and boredom sets in, could that be about to change? Jungle execs will hope so.

Shona’s mum speaks out
EastEnders star Shona McGarty bravely opened up about her anxiety battles shortly after arriving in camp, but fans of I’m A Celeb have been calling for her to have more screen time since, as she has featured surprisingly little. Shona’s mum Jennifer, spoke to The Mirror today, where she explained: “She is a slow burner and is basically quite shy until you get to know her. She is not someone to push herself forward. That is not Shona.” Read more here.

Viewers threaten to switch off after camp shakeup
Fans have already threatened to switch off following the introduction of Tom and Vogue. Last night, Jack said: I feel resistance to Vogue and Tom, I’m just kinda like, ‘Hey you don’t get to walk in halfway through the movie and decide to turn it off or change it…” and viewers have rushed to agree with him. One said: “I mean I adore Tom, don’t really know Vogue but I agree with Jack, if anyone came like 20 mins in a movie I’m watching and decides to change it or turn it off, I’d hate it too,” and another chimed in with: “I too, feel resistance to Vogue. It’s making me want to turn off.”
