SH0CK: Strictly bombshell as Alan Carr ‘in talks’ for hosting role after shock Celebrity Traitors win

Alan Carr is tipped to be one of the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing following his victory on The Celebrity Traitors, it’s been claimed.

The 49-year-old comedian was overcome with emotion as he was announced the winner of the reality TV show during Thursday’s tense final.

Alan pledged the prize money, a total of £87,500, to children’s charity Neuroblastoma UK, a donation he said would “change lives”.

However, his own career trajectory is set to shift, with The Celebrity Traitors believed to be a launchpad for further success.

An insider even suggested that Alan is being considered for Strictly, as Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are due to depart.

He told presenter Claudia Winkleman: “All that lying, all that treachery was worth it, wasn’t it?”

Nick Mohammed was visibly stunned when Alan unveiled the other traitors. The Ted Lasso actor exclaimed: “Not Joe!” He went on to say: “Alan Carr. He played an absolute blinder.”

Alan responded: “What a rollercoaster, how did this happen? I was awful at lying and had a terrible poker face and here I am, the winner.”
