Appearing on spinoff I’m A Celebrity Unpacked after last night’s launch show, the presenter reignited her feud with Happy Mondays singer Shaun Ryder.
“When I went in there, I’ll never forget, I walked in and said ‘The party’s here!’ with my Terry’s Chocolate Orange and everyone was like [unbothered face],” she recalled. “Then, Shaun Ryder hated my guts straight away. He was very rude!
Fellow guest Leigh Francis jumped to Shaun’s defence, telling Alison: “He’s normally really lovely.” But the Brummie star was having none of it.
The pair’s feud goes right the way back to 2010 when Shaun was furious to see Alison arrive in camp.

‘Oh more f**king people in the camp. And a loud person and a cheery person as well,’ he ranted in the Bush Telegraph. “She’s probably a really nice person, don’t get me wrong. I like Alison. I like horse s**t in the country but I don’t want it in my living room,” he scathed,
“I just don’t want to go through it. I’ve done f**k all for eight days except socialise. I’m about that far from f**king off.”

Despite picking a war with Alison, Shaun stayed on the show right until the very end where he finished runner-up to Stacey Solomon.
Alison and Shaun then crossed paths again on Dancing on Ice, where Alison bluntly told the musician: “I never liked you. From the first minute I met you and spoke to you, I never liked you.”

In response, Shaun bluntly told her: “I know!”
Shaun told the Daily Star at the time: ‘Ever since the jungle show, I knew Alison didn’t like me. But fair enough, nobody has to like each other. It’s not against the law.
“When we were in the jungle I knew from day one that she didn’t like me. On [that night] I was proved right.”
The frontman has since said he would consider I’m A Celebrity All Stars… but only if Alison wasn’t there.
“The hardest part was the long flight [and] I was most bothered about meeting a bunch of f***ing lovelies and spoilt motherf***ers – but I pretty much liked everybody,” he said, adding he “definitely wouldn’t want to be reunited with Alison.”
