“Truly Horrifying Turn” – Karen Carney Faces Strictly Nightmare As Latest Twist Sends Fans Into Panic And Fear For Star

This year’s Strictly Come Dancing stars Karen Carney and George Clarke have left fans in suspense as they prepare for their next performance in the ballroom.

The former footballer and YouTube star are progressing to week ten of the BBC One dance competition, following an unexpected twist in this year’s Blackpool special where no one was eliminated.

Karen and George, along with their professional dance partners Carlos Gu and Alexis Warr, are set to perform in the famous Tower Ballroom on Saturday night (22 November).

They will be competing against fellow contestants Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin, Alex Kingston and Johannes Radebe, Lewis Cope and Katya Jones, and Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.

However, before the couples could begin their performance, they received some significant news.

They were informed that there would be no elimination after La Voix had to withdraw from the BBC One dance competition, having initially been given a pass to the next round of the contest following her injury announcement last week.

This arrangement allowed the six remaining couples to showcase their talents in Blackpool without the fear of elimination, although their judges’ scores and public support would carry forward to week ten’s showdown this Saturday evening (November 29).

Karen and Carlos delivered a stunning performance, earning an impressive 39 points for their passionate paso doble set to O Fortuna from Carmina Burana, reports Manchester Evening News.

Meanwhile, George and Alexis, who wrapped up the Blackpool spectacular with their lively salsa to Bob Sinclar’s Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now) also received a combined score of 39.

Although both couples have secured their places for another week, the pair have voiced worries about an upcoming twist in the contest.

This year, the remaining contestants must face the ‘Instant Dance’ challenge.

Following a random selection of their routines from previously learnt dances, with results kept secret in sealed envelopes, participants will only learn their destiny during the live show, before discovering their chosen music and having just 10 seconds to decide their performance strategy.

Karen posted a cheerful photograph of herself and George on Instagram, alongside an image of them appearing somewhat nervous about the obstacles to come.
