Tensions reached fever pitch over the weekend as Strictly Come Dancing said goodbye to its sixth celebrity.

Despite concerns that Karen Carney might face elimination after landing the notorious ‘death slot’, it was Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and La Voix who ended up battling it out in the feared dance-off on the BBC programme.
Following both pairs performing their routines once more for the panel, it tragically spelled the end for the Gladiators favourite as every judge chose to rescue La Voix on the BBC show.

Since speaking out after narrowly avoiding elimination, La Voix has told supporters they were devastated to witness Harry’s departure from the contest.
Posting on Instagram, the BBC personality uploaded a photograph of them alongside Aljaz from their weekend performance, which secured them 29 points and placed them eighth on the scoreboard, reports Wales Online.

The message stated: “This week’s strictly was full of emotions. I loved dancing our foxtrot. @aljazskorjanec worked so hard with me to nail a technically solid ballroom dance, no props, no sets. Pure dance.
“I adored it! It didn’t get the response I was hoping sadly, which broke my heart for Aljaz, and it’s never easy being in the dance-off.
“I’m heartbroken to see Harry go – he’s been such a light in this competition- a beautiful guy who’s real biggest muscle was his heart!

“I don’t think I can quite believe that the judges saved me, I’m feeling incredibly lucky to have another chance to dance again next week.”

La Voix paused to express gratitude to their supporters for all the affection and encouragement they’ve received whilst preparing for the upcoming week.

The BBC personality continued: “I’m going into a new week ready to give my all to stay out of the dance off and still in the game! I love all of you for the messages and comments. It truly keeps me going!”
It didn’t take long for admirers to shower La Voix with encouragement, applauding their remarkable performance alongside Aljaz.
Zoe Ball remarked: “So much love. Those dance-offs are so hard, but you’ll come back fighting.”

Meanwhile, another enthusiast expressed: “So glad you made it through. You’re improving each week. Don’t let this hinder you, keep shining, keep smiling and good luck next week.”
Audiences will need to watch this weekend to discover whether La Voix can steer clear of the dance-off
