John Capodice, known for roles in “Seinfeld” and “General Hospital,” died Monday at the age of 83.
Pizzi Funeral Home in New Jersey shared the actor’s obituary. No cause of death was given.
His break out role came in 1978 when he appeared as Carmine Cerullo in “General Hospital.” He also had memorable role in “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.”
Other appearances included shows like Boy Meets World, Ellen, Will & Grace, Law & Order, Knot’s Landing, Another World, Murphy Brown, Mad About You, The West Wing, Monk and Murder, She Wrote.
He was no stranger to the big screen with credits in Independence Day and Enemy of the State.
He is survived by his wife Jane, daughters Tessa De Pierro and Cassandra Hansen, as well as four grandchildren. No cause of death was given.
In the obit, Capodice is described as a “devoted husband, father and grandfather” who “will be missed by all who had the pleasure to meet him.”
